Nesting & Dying -ghostpatrol & miso.

Yeah, I know what I said. But you know me better than that, dont you.

Last night I went along to opening night of the new Ghostpatrol & Miso exhibition @ Metro 5 Gallery in Armadale. It was the best one yet!! I was also lucky enough to pick up a copy of their new book of art. It is so special and I will treasure it for a long time.

The atmosphere was amazing, and with so many new pieces to look at I spent a long time just hovering around. If you didnt get to go, there is still hope!! Check out the brochure below for details.

there's an art to happiness

Currently reading: The Art Of Happiness -this book was a collaboration between His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and psychiatrist Howard C. Cutler, M.D. It is all about how you can take very wise Buddhist teachings and relate them in a non religious way to current life. I am on the last chapter and I fully admit that I've got a lot out of it. To me it's been like reading something I heard and wrote down many years ago but had forgotten. It seems somehow familiar to me, and also quite clear. To make change there will be a lot of re-learning of behaviours and reactions. It will take time. But the end result will be worth it. Already I find myself looking at things differently.
