She is a dreamer

"She is a dreamer and she dreams the world is wonderful.

She walks across the meadows and she sits beside the streams.

She is a dreamer and the whole world is her dream."

The regret you will feel

"I never thought you'd let me walk away that easily.
Without any real attempt to work things out.
There was no screaming, no fighting and no
real emotion on your part.
I think I imagined those tears in your eyes.
They didnt glisten like the ones that fell from mine.
I thought you would see how wrong you were.
I thought that you would miss me - my laugh, my
imagination and my love.
How could you not miss me?
I took the best parts of you and I washed away the
worst. I pretended you were this perfect specimen,
someone who had no faults and did no wrong.
Maybe I imagined the whole thing.
I never wanted to be the tragic person who has
been broken by a lover.
But when I let you in I opened myself up to hurt.
And I'm not ashamed to have loved you that much.
How naive and sweet I used to be.
If you ever pass by this way to see how I am
doing. If you stop by to read my thoughts and words,
know that life is full of moments and you had me,
for a moment. But then you let me go.
And that regret is yours to carry."

A promise is nothing without the follow through

“Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can
disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side
of everything and make your optimism come true.
Think only of the best, work only for the best and
expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that
you have no time to criticize others.
Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side
as long as you are true to the best that is in you!”
-Christian D. Larson
"Every great dream begins with a dreamer.
Always remember, you have within you the strength,
the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars
to change the world.”
— Harriet Tubman
“We make a living by what we get,
but we make a life by what we give.”
— Sir Winston Churchill

Finding our way back

"The world is such a big place, sometimes I feel like
an insignificant little speck in a vast ocean.
But then I remember that we are all connected -
big or small, near or far -there is a common thread
to all of us.
I try to send more smiles than frowns and more
positivity than negativity.
I believe in karma.
It is hard not to get lost at times, but the main
thing is that we find our way back."

Time and time again

"If I had to live my life over again, I'd dare to make
more mistakes next time. I'd relax. I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have been this trip. I would take
fewer things seriously. I would take more chances. I would
take more trips.
I would climb more mountains, swim more rivers.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would perhaps have more actual troubles, but I'd have
fewer imaginary ones. You see, I'm one of those people who
live seriously and sanely, hour after hour, day after day.
Oh, I've had my moments.
And if I had it to do over again, I'd have more of them.
In fact, I'd try to have nothing else, just moments, one after
another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.
I've been one of those persons who never goes anywhere
without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat
and a parachute. If I had it to do again,
I would travel lighter than I have. If I had to live my life over,
I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way
later in the fall. I would go to more dances.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
I would pick more daisies."
