I sometimes forget what I am missing until I find it again.
This long weekend I have spent discovering and rediscovering various things about the peninsula.
Exploration notes:
-Swim at Safety Beach.
-7km walk at Pt Nepean, exploring all the old forts and tunnels from WWI.
-Snorkelling off the rocks at Mt Eliza and found various fish for company.
-Explored the whole of the Safety Beach marina, including all the new sections just opened.
-Bushwalk around the reserve at the top of Dromana.
It felt good to be able to get back to nature and push myself once again. I grew up around here, and it will always feel like home to me. It really is something special.
